Hi there! Just a few items for you to know...
We live here and want you to visit and stay as long as you'd like while experiencing the best our resort has to offer. We are a family place with lots to do to accommodate any family size. We offer up free canoe use, bikes of all sizes, life jackets, some beach toys, and more. For rent, we offer kayaks and 2 pontoon boats. We have free board games and such...just ask. And, each cabin has a variety of books to enjoy during your stay.
We have a small store on our property that sells almost anything you might need for souvenirs, food, drinks, fishing goods including worms, and more...lots more, to include all your ice cream needs. Please note that we do not sell alcohol, or cigarettes of any type including vaping, and no weapons of any type. We do make frequent trips to town, so if you need it and we do not currently sell it....just ask. We can add it to our shopping list. We would love to help.
We expect that while you are here, you'll take advantage of all we can offer. We do ask in return that you keep the property clean as you go. We do all of our own improvement and repairs and would love you to help us care for every part of the property so we can continue to keep our upkeep expenses low... and thus our prices. We do not charge a cleaning fee, but we do expect you will clean before you leave.
We don't have a curfew, but we do ask that you honor and respect those around you.
Noise should keep kept and a reasonable level for sleep when appropriate.
If your cabin doesn't have something you need in the kitchen, or other, please ask...
I probably have it and it's yours to use.
Pets are allowed, with approval, and an additional fee for your stay.
Please bring what you need to clean up after your pets.
Pets must not be left alone during your stay.
No smoking is allowed in any of our cabins.
Common area smoking is allowed but must be discarded appropriately.
WHAT WE DO NOT SUPPLY:
All paper products...or anything you dispose of to include paper toweling, toilet paper, napkins, garbage bags, etc. We do ask that when bringing those items, you consider our septic for disposal.
Body soap, hand soap, laundry items also not supplied.
WHAT WE DO SUPPLY:
Dish soap, hand pump soap, linens, towels, all bedding, and all amenities per cabin.
We supply all coffee filters and kitchen toweling needed.

And, please note that we are improving our cabins as we go...a constant work in progress!
We are open to your suggestions.

The Sugar Island Ferry is the only way to get to our beautiful island...except if you come by boat, and some have. It's a very quick drive your car on and they will float you over kinda ferry...less than a minute, I think. The prices and times are listed above and once you are here, we can talk about trips to and from our location at a discount. You might even get to see once of the large ships passing through from/to the locks as that's that thorofare, too. So exciting!
